Fort Stockton Fire Department Receives New Brush Truck
The Fort Stockton Fire Department is proud to announce the arrival of its newest brush truck, which will replace an older apparatus and enhance the department's ability to respond to wildland fires and other emergencies throughout Pecos County.
The truck was purchased through funding approved by the Pecos County Commissioners Court in the amount of $471,250.00. Chief Jessie Dominguez also secured a grant through the Texas A&M Forest Service, which awarded the department $265,000.00 on October 14, 2025. Those grant funds will reimburse Pecos County for a significant portion of the purchase.
Chief Dominguez extends his sincere appreciation to the Pecos County Commissioners and County Judge Joe Shuster for their continued support and for approving this important investment in the department's fleet.
The new truck was purchased from Fire Trucks of Texas (Deep South) and will help ensure the Fort Stockton Fire Department is better equipped to protect the residents and property of Fort Stockton and Pecos County for years to come.
